Zusammenfassung

beON consult GmbH in Kiel is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer / DevOps Consultant to shape modern cloud and platform landscapes. You will build, operate, and evolve Linux-based platforms and manage Kubernetes environments including OpenShift or Rancher, while driving automation and CI/CD pipelines.

We value hands-on cloud design across Azure, AWS, or GCP, IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and a DevOps mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Degree with a technical focus or a comparable IT qualification.
• Experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Consultant, Cloud Engineer, or in a comparable role.
• Strong Linux / infrastructure administration skills, ideally with Red Hat, SUSE, or CentOS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or Rancher.
• Experience with at least one hyperscaler: Azure, AWS, or GCP, including practical project experience in deployments and architecture.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and GitOps, e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD.
• DevOps / SRE mindset and experience with Git, artifact management, code scanning, and pipeline management.
• Strong interest in AI platforms and motivation to learn topics such as OpenShift AI, AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes, KServe, vLLM, GPU infrastructure, and model serving.
• Prior exposure to AI, data, or automation topics is a plus, but not required
• Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken
