Zusammenfassung

Diehl Metering GmbH is seeking an experienced engineer to drive plastic injection molding processes for new and existing products. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal production teams to develop and improve molding methods.

You will travel abroad regularly, work in a global manufacturing environment, and apply strong problem-solving, cross-functional communication, and project management to deliver high quality, cost-efficient production.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanics with a focus on plastic injection molding.
• Proactive and autonomous with strong problem-solving and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent cross-functional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Team player with strong commitment, responsibility, transparency and confidentiality.
• Willing to travel abroad regularly and work in a global manufacturing environment; very good English.

Aufgaben

• Develop and improve plastic injection molding processes for new and existing products with suppliers and internal production teams.
• Support suppliers and internal stakeholders with technical expertise, driving DFM and production optimization.
• Lead process transfers between suppliers while ensuring quality, capacity, timelines and budget.
• Monitor injection molding assets and recommend investments to increase efficiency and sustainability.
• Conduct external trials, support supplier selection and qualification, and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead process transfers between suppliers while ensuring quality, capacity, project timelines, and budget requirements.
• Monitor injection molding assets and recommend investments to support efficiency, sustainability, and long-term industrial strategy.
• Conduct external trials, support supplier selection and qualification, and drive continuous improvements across injection molding technologies and equipment.
