White Plains Hospital Medical Center is seeking a physician for day shift to provide professional services to the hospital’s patient population and ensure continuity of care. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment and management of care in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

The physician will collaborate with hospital administrators on budgets, staffing and strategic planning, participate in quality improvement initiatives and after-hours on-call coverage as needed.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory entities (e.g., The Joint Commission).
• Work with Hospital administrators on budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing.
• Assist with the selection, supervision and evaluation of the Hospital’s staff.
• Assist in recruitment of additional physicians to the area served by the Hospital.
• Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs and committees.
• Participate in teaching or community benefit programs as requested.
• Participate in after hours and on call coverage as indicated.
• Provide and perform other services as reasonably requested by the Hospital.

The Physician will:

1. Provide professional services to the Hospital’s patient population (including but not limited to assessment, treatment and management of care) and assure continuity of care for those patients assigned to Physician. The professional services provided shall be consistent with the requirements in place at the time for all applicable federal, state and local regulatory entities

(including, without limitation, The Joint Commission).

1. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, work with designated Hospital administrators to provide input into the Hospital’s budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing.

2. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist with the selection, supervision and evaluation of the Hospital’s staff.

3. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist the Hospital in recruitment of additional physicians to the area served by the Hospital.

4. Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs and committees as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital.

5. Participate in such teaching or community benefit programs or other activities as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital from time to time.

6. Participate in after hours and on call coverage as may be indicated for patient care and practice needs.

7. Provide and perform such other services as may reasonably be requested by the

Hospital from time to time.
