Job summary

White Plains Hospital is seeking a Breast Imager to provide expert interpretation of mammograms and breast ultrasound, and to collaborate with surgical and oncology teams in Westchester County.

The role involves performing image-guided procedures and contributing to personalized treatment plans, with a focus on quality patient care and continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Medical School
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist
• An active New York Medical License

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate assessments of breast conditions, including identifying and characterizing breast masses, calcifications, and other abnormalities.
• Perform and interpret mammograms, ultrasound scans, and other breast imaging modalities to detect and diagnose breast abnormalities.
• Collaborate with breast surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with breast cancer or other breast-related conditions.
• Conduct image-guided breast procedures, such as biopsies and aspirations, to obtain tissues samples for further evaluation and diagnosis.
