With the aim of strengthening our team, we are recruiting a

People & Culture Specialist (f/m/x) - Germany and Austria.

The People & Culture (P&C) Specialist (f/m/x) plays a pivotal role in implementing global and regional P&C strategies at the local level. This position ensures legal compliance, operational excellence, and employee engagement across the full employee lifecycle. Acting as a trusted advisor to the local management team and a liaison to HQ, the P&C Specialist supports business continuity and fosters a positive workplace culture.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as the local expert for labor law, ensuring full legal compliance and minimizing employment-related risks
  • Manage employee relations cases, including conflicts, disciplinary actions, and grievances
  • Support the Country Manager with all local People & Culture (P&C) matters and alignment with corporate standards
  • Ensure consistent local implementation of global P&C policies, programs, and initiatives
  • Serve as the key liaison between local operations and HQ P&C for alignment and compliance
  • Oversee adherence to internal policies, employment contracts, Time & Attendance, Travel & Expenses, and Car Policy
  • Coordinate core P&C processes such as performance management, merit reviews, promotions, and headcount planning, including payroll liaison
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth employee transitions and compliant documentation
  • Support talent acquisition efforts and deliver local training and development initiatives to strengthen employee growth
  • Provide data-driven insights, ensure smooth P&C operations, and support the local rollout of global and regional P&C initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a Master’s in HR, Law, or Business Administration considered a strong plus
  • Specialization in the affiliate country’s labor law is considered a strong advantage
  • Several years in P&C roles with a focus on labor law and employee relations
  • Experience in multinational environments and collaboration with global P&C teams
  • Deep knowledge of local labor law and HR compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as high integrity, discretion, and professionalism
  • Excellent command of German and English
  • Digital agility and proficiency in HR systems and collaboration tools
