About the Role

Our People Function works across brands, countries, and cultures for a global Maersk. As an HR Advisor on the Frontline People Team, you will support our warehouse in Philippsburg and play a crucial role in our success: ensuring that employees receive fast and professional support for their HR-related matters so they can focus fully on their work. Whether it’s a simple question or a more complex issue, you will be a trusted point of contact and help ensure that every interaction with HR is a positive experience. We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our on-site team in Philippsburg and provide professional support to our warehouse team.

Your Responsibilities

• Take ownership of inquiries regarding HR policies and processes by understanding needs, evaluating options, developing solutions, and collaborating with HR colleagues when necessary.
• Work closely with warehouse managers, particularly on absence management and disciplinary matters.
• Support managers in developing and implementing an employee engagement plan for the site.
• Actively use Workday (our HR system) and maintain case trackers, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Assist with questions related to benefits, policies, and processes, including research, problem-solving, and coordination with the HR team.
• Train and guide employees and managers on HR systems and the HR service model.
• Support the full HR lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, internal transfers, offboarding, and more.
• Implement a comprehensive communication plan to ensure all employees receive important site and company information (e.g., through notice boards, digital screens, and shift briefings).
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and up-to-date maintenance of HR-related documentation, including personnel files, HR policies, compliance records, compensation, and benefits documentation.

What You Bring

• Knowledge of German labor law and a solid understanding of HR fundamentals, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience handling employee relations matters.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
• Experience with Workday or another HR information system (HRIS) is a plus.

Als People Advisor im Frontline People Team unterstützt du unser Warehouse in Philippsburg und spielst eine entscheidende Rolle für unseren Erfolg: Du sorgst dafür, dass Mitarbeitende schnelle und kompetente Unterstützung zu ihren HR-Themen bekommen – damit sie sich voll auf ihre Arbeit konzentrieren können. Wir suchen einen HR Advisor (m/w/d) für unser Team vor Ort in Philippsburg, derdie unser Warehouse-Team professionell unterstützt.

Deine Aufgaben

• Verantwortung für Anfragen zu HR-Richtlinien und Prozessen: Bedürfnisse verstehen, Optionen prüfen, Lösungen entwickeln und bei Bedarf mit HR-Kolleg*innen zusammenarbeiten
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Führungskräften im Warehouse, insbesondere bei Abwesenheiten und disziplinarischen Themen
• Unterstützung der Führungskräfte bei der Erstellung und Umsetzung eines Engagement-Plans für den Standort
• Aktive Arbeit in Workday (unser HR-System) sowie Pflege von Case Trackern inklusive fristgerechter Nachverfolgung
• Unterstützung bei Fragen zu Benefits, Richtlinien und Prozessen – inklusive Recherche, Lösungsfindung und Abstimmung mit dem HR-Team
• Schulung und Anleitung von Mitarbeitenden und Führungskräften in HR-Systemen und im HR-Service-Modell
• Unterstützung im gesamten HR-Jahreszyklus: Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Jobwechsel, Offboarding usw.
• Umsetzung eines umfassenden Kommunikationsplans, damit alle Mitarbeitenden wichtige Standort- und Unternehmensinfos erhalten (z. B. über Aushänge, Bildschirme, Schichtstarts)
• Sicherstellung von Genauigkeit, Compliance und Aktualität in HR-relevanten Dokumenten (u. a. Personalakten, HR-Richtlinien, Compliance-Unterlagen, Vergütungs- und Benefits-Dokumente)

Was du mitbringst

• Kenntnisse im deutschen Arbeitsrecht sowie ein gutes Verständnis von HR-Grundlagen, -Prozessen und Compliance-Anforderungen
• Erfahrung in der Bearbeitung von Employee-Relations-Themen
• Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeiten
• Fließende Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse
• Erfahrung mit Workday oder einem anderen HR-System ist ein Plus
