Larson Maddox is seeking an experienced professional to lead outsourcing and third-party risk initiatives in a regulated financial services context.

You will oversee the full outsourcing lifecycle, support framework development, and ensure compliance with DORA and MaRisk while collaborating with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Technology and Business teams.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in regulated financial services environments (banking, insurance, asset management, fintech, payments).
• Familiar with outsourcing risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Knowledge of DORA and MaRisk is a plus.
• Experience conducting third-party risk assessments and governance reviews.
• Ability to work with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Technology, and Business teams.

Aufgaben

• Act as a central point of contact for outsourcing and third-party risk matters.
• Oversee the outsourcing lifecycle: due diligence, risk assessments, onboarding, monitoring, and ongoing oversight.
• Support development and continuous improvement of outsourcing and third-party risk frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including DORA and MaRisk.
• Conduct controls, reviews, and monitoring across outsourced arrangements and providers.
• Maintain governance documentation, reporting, and management information.
• Support audit engagements, regulatory reviews, and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, compliance, legal, procurement, and technology.
• Contribute to operational resilience and third-party governance initiatives.

Jobbeschreibung

• Several years of experience in Outsourcing Management, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Governance, Operational Risk, Compliance, Audit, or a related function.
• Experience within a regulated financial services environment such as banking, insurance, asset management, fintech, or payment services.
• Strong understanding of outsourcing and third-party risk frameworks.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to outsourcing, operational resilience, and third-party risk management, including DORA and MaRisk.
• Experience conducting outsourcing risk assessments, due diligence reviews, controls, monitoring activities, and governance reviews.
• Familiarity with vendor management, service provider oversight, and risk mitigation processes.
• Understanding of audit requirements, regulatory expectations, and control frameworks.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Technology, and Business teams.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Fluent German and English.

Preferred Background

• Experience supporting internal or external audits, regulatory inspections, or remediation programmes.
• Exposure to operational resilience, ICT risk, cloud outsourcing, or vendor governance initiatives.
• Experience maintaining outsourcing inventories, registers, or related governance documentation.
• Academic background in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Compliance, Audit, or a related discipline.
