Order Processor (m/f/d)
What You’ll Do
- You will ensure timely, cost-effective, and customer-focused order and shipping processing in both domestic and international contexts.
- You will gather customer requests and needs, advise customers, and work with the relevant departments to develop appropriate technical and scheduling solutions.
- When scheduling issues arise, you’ll work with the relevant departments to develop solutions and coordinate them with customers.
- You determine the shipping and packaging methods as well as the scope of shipment, solicit transport quotes, place orders, and arrange the necessary freight space.
- You prepare and coordinate the necessary shipping, customs, and export documents and handle the standard customs formalities in accordance with applicable regulations.
- You process letter of credit and certification requests and ensure that all documentation is complete and forwarded.
- You monitor the timely and proper handling of shipments and orders and take appropriate action in the event of deviations.
- You plan and manage project components, track quality, costs, and deadlines, and report on the project status.
- You will investigate technical issues during post-delivery support, coordinate with the relevant departments, and assist in implementing solutions.

What You Bring to the Table
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally in freight forwarding, logistics, manufacturing, or international trade, or hold a relevant degree or comparable qualification.
- You have professional experience in shipping, order processing, scheduling, export, or a similar field.
- You have a good understanding of domestic and international shipping and transportation procedures, as well as customs and export processes.
- You are proficient in handling shipping and customs documents and, ideally, have experience with letter of credit transactions.
- You have good IT skills, particularly in SAP and MS Office.
- You have good to very good written and spoken English skills; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
- You have a strong technical understanding and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
