Job summary

Centre People Appointments is seeking an Order Processing & Logistics Staff for a Japanese manufacturing company located north of Frankfurt. The role focuses on order processing, inventory management and logistics coordination for spare parts used in machine tools.

You will respond to distributors across Europe, process orders, manage inventory with Sage, and coordinate shipments with an external warehouse. New graduates and second-jobbers are welcome; basic PC skills and adaptability are valued.

Qualifications

• Business-level proficiency in German and English.
• Basic PC skills including Word, Excel and email.
• Office-based, full-time role with 40 hours/week.
• Able to commute to Bad Homburg.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Experience in order processing, inventory management, sales administration, logistics, or SAP/ERP systems is advantageous.

A Japanese manufacturing company is seeking an Order Processing & Logistics Staff to join its team in North of Frankfurt.

The role will focus on order processing, inventory management and logistics coordination for spare parts used in machine tools. You will respond to enquiries from distributors across Europe, process orders, manage inventory using Sage and coordinate shipments with an external warehouse.

The company is open to new graduates and second jobbers and places greater importance on basic PC skills, willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to new tasks.

Main Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries from distributors across Europe regarding spare parts
• Process orders for spare parts and related purchasing activities
• Manage inventory and order records using Sage
• Check stock availability and maintain accurate inventory information
• Provide shipping instructions to the external warehouse and arrange deliveries
• Support the supply of spare parts required for machine repairs and maintenance
• Handle VAT-related matters for transactions within the EU and with non-EU countries
• Support general administration related to the department as required

Ideal Candidate

• Business-level proficiency in both German and English
• Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email
• Comfortable working full-time in an office-based environment
• Able to commute to the new office in Bad Homburg
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Flexible approach and willingness to handle a broad range of responsibilities
• Experience in order processing, inventory management, sales administration, logistics, or SAP/ERP systems would be advantageous
• Comfortable using business systems and IT tools

Conditions

• Location: North of Frankfurt, Germany
• Working Style: Office-based
• Salary: Approximately €45,000–€50,000 per annum depending on experience, including 12 months' basic salary plus fixed bonus
• Job Type: Permanent, full-time (6-month probation)
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, typically 8:00–17:00 with a 1-hour break
• Flexibility: Flexible working times can be discussed
• Start: Negotiable
