Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and transportation regulations.
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles (e.g., vans, light trucks).
• Physical stamina for lifting, carrying and standing for long periods.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely to transport goods according to routes and schedules.
• Load and unload cargo, securing items to prevent damage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle records.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety policies.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatch and customers.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Represent JD.com professionally during interactions with customers.
• Handle COD payments when required.

About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. JD.com, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Transportation Driver to ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods to various destinations. This role is crucial for maintaining JD.com's high standards of customer satisfaction through efficient logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles (vans, trucks) safely and efficiently to transport goods, packages, and materials according to established routes and schedules.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any defects, maintenance needs, or accidents promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and other required documentation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety regulations, and transportation policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Represent JD.com professionally during all interactions with customers and the public.
• Handle cash on delivery (COD) payments when required, ensuring accuracy and security.
