Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an Operations & Maintenance professional to safeguard the performance of solar PV installations across Germany and beyond. In this role you’ll provide remote support for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting, configure assets in the O&M platform, and monitor systems via portals.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in IT system integration or a related technical field.
• Understanding of PV system design and operation.
• Fluency in German (C1 or native) and solid English communication.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, customer-focused mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PV systems.

• Set up and maintain data loggers, routers, and communication infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

As part of the Operations & Maintenance team, you will help ensure the smooth performance of solar PV installations by:

• Providing remote support for the commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PV systems.

• Setting up and maintaining data loggers, routers, and other communication infrastructure components.
• Creating, tracking, and documenting maintenance and repair tickets.
• Reviewing maintenance reports and initiating corrective actions where required.
• Assisting customers with technical questions and providing professional support.
• Ensuring accurate technical documentation and reporting.

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training in IT system integration, a degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Understanding of the technical design and operation of photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Fluency in German (C1 level or native) and strong English communication skills.
• A proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
