Job summary

RTS Wind AG in Bremen seeks an Offshore Service Technician (m/f/d) for international assignments to start in early 2027. You will install health monitoring, cables, sensors and data systems on offshore wind turbines.

The role requires vocational training as mechanic or electronics tech, offshore wind experience, valid GWO certificates, willingness to travel internationally, and EU citizenship. This is a permanent contract with a 14-day offshore rotation and a strong focus on safety and

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a mechanic or electronics technician.
• Experience in the offshore wind energy sector, ideally in turbine erection.
• Willingness to undertake international offshore assignments in Europe, Asia and the USA.
• Valid GWO certificates and a medical fitness assessment.
• European citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Install structural health monitoring systems on offshore wind turbines.
• Lay power and fibre-optic cables.
• Install sensors in the monopile, transition piece and towers.
• Install data acquisition and communication systems.
• Inspect and maintain installed monitoring systems.

For offshore deployment, we are looking for Offshore Service Technician (m/f/d) international assignments to start in the first quarter of 2027.

Tasks

• Installation of structural health monitoring systems on offshore wind turbines
• Laying power and fibre-optic cables
• Installation of sensors in the monopile, transition piece and towers
• Installation of data acquisition and communication systems
• Inspection and maintenance of installed monitoring systems

Profile

• Completed vocational training as a mechanic, electronics technician or equivalent
• Proven experience in the offshore wind energy sector, ideally in the erection of wind turbines
• Willingness to undertake international offshore assignments in Europe, Asia and the USA
• Valid GWO certificates and a medical fitness assessment
• European citizenship
