Job summary

GEODIS in Hamburg is seeking an Ocean Freight Forwarder (m/f/d) for import operations. You will independently manage ocean freight shipments from A to Z and serve as the interface between customers, our network, and service providers.

You will perform performance analyses, initiate improvements in your area, negotiate with providers, and handle invoicing with full cost control and results overview. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial vocational training as a freight forwarding agent.
• Very good MS Office skills.
• Independent working style and high level of commitment.
• Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and ability to work in a team.
• Confident command of English, both spoken and written.
