Job summary

GEODIS in Frankfurt is looking for an Airfreight Forwarder Import (m/f/d) to independently manage air freight shipments from A to Z and to act as the interface between customers, our network and partners.

The role requires strong English, solid MS Office skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. You will analyze performance, drive improvements, negotiate with providers, and invoice shipments with cost control.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial vocational training as a freight forwarding agent.
• Very good MS Office skills.
• Independent working style with high level of commitment.
• Strong communication, persuasiveness and ability to work in a team.
• Confident command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Independent management and processing of air freight shipments from A to Z.
• Acting as a point of contact and interface between customers, our network, and our business partners.
• Performance analyses and initiation of continuous improvements within your area of responsibility.
• Negotiations with service providers.
• Invoicing of air freight shipments with full cost control and results overview.
