National Leasing Specialist

Jobtailor seeks a Leasing Manager to lead marketing and leasing efforts across properties, with extensive travel and collaboration with the Regional team. You will drive occupancy through strategic plans, tenant outreach, and staff mentoring.

The role requires a strong track record in lease-ups, experience with property management software, and a customer-focused approach to retention. Expect a fast-paced environment and close teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and/or two or more years of experience in a Leasing Manager position, or similar role is required
• Proven success in the lease-up of a property, within the student housing industry is strongly preferred
• Experience with property management software, Entrata preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work in a growing, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
• Proven experience building strong relationships with on-site team members, resident bases, vendors, and company partners
• Ability to adapt to challenging and changing circumstance and jump in and make an impact quickly
• Experience creating social media and marketing content and managing a marketing calendar
• Be a self-motivated individual and excel at working in a team environment
• Understanding of the standards of property management including Fair Housing laws, Tenant/Landlord rights, and general real estate principles
• Extensive travel (90-100%) required
• Candidate must be located near a major US airport
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship at this time

• Implement strategic marketing plans, leasing efforts, and leasing strategies
• Conduct market research and analysis to achieve budgeted occupancy
• Utilize sales strategies to maximize revenues while keeping concession spend at or below budget
• Conduct tours, respond to leasing inquiries, and follow up with prospective residents
• Train and support Leasing Specialists and/or Community Assistants, focusing on work delegation and timely execution alongside the Property Manager
• Execute and develop marketing efforts on campus and in the community
• Participate in customer appreciation events and other special events
• Enforce lease agreement terms and communicate expectations with residents
• Manage administrative, inventory, and reporting tasks for the assigned property
• Identify leasing issues and opportunities and recommend action plans with the Regional Leasing Manager and Regional Property Manager
• Assist with new property onboarding and lead leasing staff in executing sales processes and procedures
• Implement pre-leasing plans and renewal campaigns
• Develop and implement customer retention programs
