Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineer to build and optimize real-time monitoring systems in a FinTech environment. You will proactively spot performance degradation, ensure high uptime of third-party integrations, and help drive incident resolution with data-driven insights.

Fluency in German and English is essential for cross-functional collaboration with Product, TechOps, and Delivery teams. You will develop dashboards and automated checks to digitize operational system checks.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience building stable live systems, ideally in FinTech or complex IT environments.
• Experience analyzing system performance, latency, error logs, and anomalies.
• Experience building meaningful dashboards and automated alerts.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting and incident triage.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong written and spoken communication.

Aufgaben

• Build, maintain, and optimize real-time monitoring and alerting systems.
• Proactively monitor performance to detect degradation and deviations early.
• Track stability, uptime, latency of external third-party integrations (payments/banking).
• Isolate and follow up on external outages promptly.
• Perform initial incident analyses and provide structured error data for developers and PMs.
• Support rapid incident resolution processes.
• Collect stability metrics (uptime, errors, latency).
• Provide data-driven insights to prioritize maintenance on the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and continuously optimize intelligent real-time monitoring and alerting systems
• Proactively monitor system performance to identify gradual degradation and sudden deviations at an early stage
• Continuously track the stability, uptime, and latency of external third-party integrations, such as payment providers and banking interfaces
• Immediately isolate and follow up on external outages
• Conduct initial incident analyses and prepare well-structured, reliable error data for developers and Product Managers
• Support rapid incident resolution processes
• Collect and prepare stability metrics such as uptime, errors, and latency
• Provide data-driven insights to support the prioritization of maintenance work on the product roadmap
