Job summary

EPAM Systems in Germany is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect to design enterprise Fabric-based data platforms with Power BI integration. You will guide architecture decisions, governance and security, while coordinating across IT and data teams in a hybrid setup.

The role focuses on lakehouse and warehouse patterns, real-time data, and cost/performance monitoring, with international engagements and strong stakeholder communication required.

Qualifications

• Four-plus years in data and analytics, BI or data platform architecture.
• One-plus year as a solution architect.
• Power BI expertise: enterprise semantic model, star schema, DAX, performance and capacity.
• Solid data governance, security and Entra ID understanding.
• Experience running workshops and presenting to executives and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Run architecture discovery, current-state assessments and tech roadmaps for enterprise clients.
• Document key platform decisions and design end-to-end Fabric solutions.
• Plan migrations from legacy platforms to Fabric and manage cost, performance and monitoring.
• Advise on AI-ready data platforms and Copilot in Fabric and Power BI.
• Supervise delivery as design authority and ensure adherence to standards.

Enterprise organizations face mounting complexity in data platform strategy, governance and integration. This is the Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect (m/f/d) role at EPAM in Germany, the Netherlands or the UK, working hybrid. You help clients navigate platform choices and shape robust architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The role anchors in real-world enterprise challenges, from lakehouse and warehouse design to security and FinOps. You work across client IT and data teams, translating business needs into production-ready solutions. The hybrid model means you collaborate both remotely and on-site as needed.
