Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Berlin is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer / AI-Architect in a hybrid role. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions by rapidly creating AI-powered prototypes using Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities include translating requirements, building end-to-end prototypes, and delivering compelling live demonstrations to clients. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential to turn prototypes into production-ready paths.

Qualifications

• Strong practical development experience in at least one of C# .NET, Java, Python, TS/JavaScript or Node.js.
• Ability to develop a functional solution across frontend, backend, APIs, data, authentication and deployment.
• Understanding of cloud-native application design.
• Experience building generative-AI applications such as RAG, copilots, agents or retrieval-augmented generation.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with account teams to understand business problems, workflows, users, data and constraints.
• Translate requirements into practical solution concepts and prototype plans.
• Build end-to-end prototypes, proofs of concept and MVPs quickly using AI tools.
• Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Azure services and GitHub tools.
• Prepare and deliver live customer demonstrations and gather feedback for rapid iteration.
