Moonwalk Recruitment Solutions is assisting a leading M&A advisory boutique in Munich to hire a Senior Associate. You will execute sell-side and buy-side transactions, manage complex financial modeling, and support deal structuring across the DACH region and internationally.

You will lead 3-statement modeling (DCF, LBO), draft CIMs and pitchbooks, coordinate due diligence, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with Partners and client executives in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Direct deal execution experience in Tier-1/Elite Boutique or Big 4 Transaction Advisory
• Advanced financial modeling (3-statement, DCF, LBO) and strong accounting literacy (HGB/IFRS)
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficiency with market databases
• Fluency in German (native or C1/C2) for DACH client interactions and deal execution
• Professional English proficiency (C1/C2)

We are currently working with a leading M&A Advisory Boutique in Munich that is looking to hire Senior Associate for their team.

You will play a central part in executing sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, carve-outs, and growth capital mandates across the DACH region and internationally. Working in lean deal teams alongside experienced Partners, you will take high ownership of financial modeling, deal structuring, valuation, and transaction documentation, while helping mentor junior Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead integrated 3-statement financial modeling, DCF valuations, trading & transaction comparable multiples, and LBO models for prospective transactions.
• Draft confidential investment teasers, Information Memorandums (CIM/IM), management presentations, and pitchbooks for prospective buyers and investors.
• Coordinate buy-side and sell-side financial, legal, tax, and commercial due diligence processes, managing Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs) and bidder Q&A workstreams.
• Serve as a day-to-day contact for client executives, private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, external advisors, and target management teams.
• Support senior leaders with market research, target identification, sector deep-dives, and pitch material preparation.
• Mentor and staff Analysts and Interns across live deal workstreams.

Candidate Profile:

• 4 to 6 years of direct deal execution experience within a Tier-1 / Bulge Bracket / Elite Boutique Investment Bank, M&A Advisory Boutique, or Big 4 Transaction Advisory Services (FDD / M&A).
• Outstanding Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Quantitative/Engineering disciplines from a top-tier university.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities (integrated 3-statement models, DCF, LBO, merger analysis) and strong accounting literacy (HGB / IFRS).
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and market databases (Capital IQ, Mergermarket, PitchBook, Gain.pro, Bloomberg).
• High analytical rigor, attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Languages

• Native or C1/C2 Fluent German (mandatory for DACH client interactions and transaction execution).
• Professional Fluency in English (C1/C2).
