Media & Communication Internship at GlogauAIR

GlogauAIR is seeking a Media & Communication Intern to join its team from January to March 2026 in Berlin. The selected intern will support the organization’s artist residency program by promoting contemporary art through media outreach, communication strategies, and digital engagement.

Expected Commitment

• 3 months that follow residency semester dates.
• 20 hours per week for Curatorial, 20 hours for Media.
• Tuesday - Friday 12 - 5pm.
• Working hours might have to be flexible depending on the events in the Project Space. The trainee will be informed in advance.

Evaluation:

At the end of the internship, the trainee will undergo an evaluation process, after which GlogauAIR will issue a certificate and a recommendation letter to validate the training program. It is important to note that the Training Agreement does not constitute an employment contract. While the internship is unpaid, GlogauAIR supports applications for Erasmus+ or other mobility grants and can provide the required documentation for such funding opportunities.

• Photographing the showcase window on Tuesdays
• Artist interview documentation with Curatorial Intern

On-site support

• Providing on-site support to residents with research, media production and communication.

Special interest / research projects are welcome.

• If you have a specific project you would like to undertake in addition to your tasks, this can be discussed and confirmed with the on-site team.

Knowledge, skills and competences to be acquired by the trainee:

• Organizational Skills, Teamwork, PR
• Understanding of business, especially calendar and issues
• Computer skills: Layout and web design – Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop. Image processing. Office suite
• Verbal and written communicative skills – proficiency or native level of English
• Autonomy: Ability to analyse and solve problems
• Contemporary marketing and communication processes and procedures
