Zusammenfassung

Linnk Group is seeking two hands-on Hardware Electrical Technicians based in Berlin to support the assembly, testing, maintenance, and deployment of advanced robotics and automation systems.

This fixed-term contract runs through the end of 2027 with a 3-month probationary period. The role involves up to 50% international travel across EU, the UK and North America, and requires practical experience with electrical systems and industrial equipment.

Qualifikationen

  • 2–5 years of hands-on technical experience in industrial/ manufacturing/ automation/ robotics environments.
  • Strong practical experience with hand tools, power tools, and metalworking equipment.
  • Good understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Physically capable of manual assembly and equipment handling.
  • Based in or able to regularly work from Berlin.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.

Aufgaben

  • Build, assemble, modify, and maintain robotic and automation systems using mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
  • Perform hands-on metalworking, fabrication, fitting, and mechanical assembly activities.
  • Install, wire, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and automation hardware.
  • Support robotics lab operations, testing, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Travel internationally to support equipment installation, deployment, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement practical solutions with engineering teams.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly documentation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of builds, modifications, maintenance activities, and technical procedures.
  • Follow safety procedures throughout all activities.

Position: Hardware Electrical Technician

Location: Berlin, Germany - Up to 50% Travel Across EU, UK & North America

Type: Contract

Duration: Fixed term contract that will run till the end of 2027. The first 3 months will be probationary period.

Overview

Linnk is seeking 2 hands-on Hardware Technicians to support the assembly, testing, maintenance, and deployment of advanced robotics and automation systems.

Based in Berlin, you will work within a fast-paced engineering environment, combining hands-on mechanical and electrical work with international field deployments. The role is ideal for technically minded individuals with experience working with tools, metal components, electrical systems, and industrial equipment who enjoy building, troubleshooting, and improving real-world technology.

Up to 50% international travel will be required to support deployments across Europe, the UK & North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build, assemble, modify, and maintain robotic and automation systems using mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
  • Perform hands-on metalworking, fabrication, fitting, and mechanical assembly activities
  • Install, wire, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and automation hardware
  • Support robotics lab operations, testing activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory management
  • Travel internationally to support equipment installation, deployment, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement practical solutions in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly documentation
  • Maintain accurate documentation of builds, modifications, maintenance activities, and technical procedures
  • Follow relevant electrical, workshop, and site safety procedures throughout all activities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2- 5 years of hands-on technical experience within an industrial, manufacturing, automation, robotics, or engineering environment
  • Strong practical experience using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking equipment
  • Good understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial automation equipment
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Physically capable of carrying out manual assembly, installation, and equipment handling activities
  • Based in or able to regularly work from Berlin
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel internationally for up to 50% of working time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience with robotics, automation, or material handling systems
  • German-recognised electrical qualification/certification
  • Experience with pneumatic systems, sensors, motors, or industrial control equipment
  • Experience with fabrication, machining, or prototype assembly
  • Familiarity with CAD, 3D printing, or rapid prototyping
  • Previous experience supporting equipment installation or commissioning in the field
