Job description

Turn ideas into reality. Build the future of robotics.

Are you passionate about robotics, mechanical design and bringing innovative technology to life? Do you enjoy getting hands-on, solving complex technical challenges and seeing your creations go from concept to fully functioning systems?

This could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

We are looking for a talented and hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to join an innovative robotics environment where creativity, precision and engineering excellence come together.

In this role, you won't just work with cutting-edge robotic technology — you'll help build it, test it and make it better.

You'll work closely with engineers on exciting R&D projects, developing custom components, assembling sophisticated robotic systems and contributing directly to their performance, reliability and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in bringing advanced robotic systems to life through a combination of mechanical engineering, electronics, prototyping and hands-on experimentation.

  • Build & Innovate: Assemble, maintain and improve mechanical and electrical components of advanced robotic systems.
  • Design & Create: Develop custom mechanical parts, prototypes and testing fixtures using CAD software and 3D printing technologies.
  • Test & Perfect: Plan and execute functional, performance and endurance tests to ensure robotic systems operate at their best.
  • Solve Real Engineering Challenges: Investigate hardware issues, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, and develop practical solutions.
  • Drive R&D Forward: Collaborate with engineers to refine prototypes, optimise hardware designs and improve testing methodologies.
  • Make an Impact: Document technical findings, share insights and contribute to the continuous development of reliable, high-performance robotic technology.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for hands-on engineering.

Your background:
  • A degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience working with mechanical or electromechanical systems in an R&D, laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly, hardware integration, maintenance or troubleshooting.
Your technical toolkit:
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies (FDM/SLA), including printer setup, slicing and post-processing.
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems, electronics and electromechanical components.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical schematics and documentation.
  • Experience with hardware testing, prototyping or product validation.
  • You love understanding how things work — and making them work even better.
  • You're a natural problem-solver who enjoys practical engineering challenges.
  • You're detail-oriented, curious and comfortable experimenting with new ideas.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working alongside talented engineers.
  • You take pride in building reliable, high-quality systems.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This is an opportunity to move beyond theory and work directly with the technology shaping the future of robotics.

Hands‑on innovation

Get involved in the complete development journey — from designing and 3D printing components to assembling, testing and improving physical robotic systems.

Work on technically interesting problems where experimentation, creativity and engineering expertise make a genuine difference.

Collaborative engineering environment

Work closely with engineers, exchange ideas and contribute to the development of sophisticated robotic technology.

See your work come to life

Experience the satisfaction of turning designs and concepts into working robotic solutions.

Keep learning, building and growing

Expand your practical expertise across robotics, mechatronics, mechanical design, electronics and advanced prototyping.

Ready to Build What's Next?

If you're the kind of engineer who gets excited about robotics, loves creating things from scratch and enjoys the challenge of making complex systems work, we want to hear from you.
