Weltec Engineering in Germany seeks a highly skilled Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join our team. You will focus on ensuring quality in piping systems, isometrics, and pressure tests, coordinating with clients and trades to hand over projects.

The ideal candidate brings experience in Semiconductor or Pharma/Biopharma environments, familiarity with HVAC and Piping Systems, and a track record in QA/QC on data centre projects.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of HVAC, Piping Systems and LSPs (P&IDs) essential
• Experience in QA/QC on Semiconductor or Pharma/Biopharma projects
• Data Centre project experience welcomed

Aufgaben

• Attend and coordinate walkdowns on piping systems to confirm compliance with design Isometric and LSP (P&ID) drawings
• Compile detailed punch-lists of items to be closed out
• Supervise trade resources assigned to close out punches
• Attend daily/weekly punch status meetings to discuss priorities and advise on status
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date as-building of isometrics
• Ensure pressure tests align with system/scope boundary requirements
• Compile test packs for execution of testing scope and handover
• Complete W1/W2/W3 walks with the Client to ensure timely system handover
• Assist quality audits of the pipe fabrication and welding process, identify areas for improvement

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Germany.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Semi-conductor or Pharma/Biopharma projects and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and online databases. Experience in Data Centre projects will also be considered.

Candidates with a pipefitting trade background are encouraged to apply, as it is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Attend and coordinate walkdowns on piping systems to confirm compliance with design Isometric and LSP (P&ID) drawings
• Compile detailed punch-lists of items to be closed out

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Mechanical Engineering 3rd Level Degree or National craft certification in pipefitting
• Knowledge of HVAC, Piping Systems and LSPs (P&IDs) essential
• Previous experience in a similar QA/QC role, preferably in Semi-conductor or Pharma/Biopharma projects
• Experience with Data Centre projects will be considered
