Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a QA/QC Welding Inspector on pipeline construction projects.
• Strong background in Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy, Petrochemical, Heavy Industrial Construction.
• Certification in welding processes and quality control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Experience reviewing WPS, PQRs, welder qualifications, and NDT documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Aufgaben

• Conduct visual inspections (VT) of pipeline welds and associated fabrication activities.
• Perform and oversee weld inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Reviewing welding procedures, qualifications, and supporting documentation.
• Raising, monitoring, and closing non-conformance reports (NCRs) where required.
• Inspecting materials, consumables, and welding equipment to ensure compliance.
• Ensuring traceability of materials and weld records.
• Maintaining quality documentation and preparing inspection reports.
• Working closely with site management, contractors, and client representatives to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Supporting audits, quality reviews, and client inspections.
• Promoting a strong safety and quality culture across all site activities.
• Cross-country pipeline or transmission pipeline experience.
• Experience working with EPC contractors and international project teams.
• Additional quality or welding qualifications would be advantageous.

QA/QC Welding Inspector

I am currently supporting a major pipeline construction project in Mannheim, Germany, and am looking to speak with experienced QA/QC Welding Inspectors for a long-term assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a significant infrastructure project with a strong pipeline of ongoing work, offering long-term stability and the chance to work on large-scale pipeline construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

As a QA/QC Welding Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring all welding inspections are done up to a high standard.

Location: Mannheim, Germany

Project Duration: Long-term assignment with strong future workload

Start Date: 17th August

Rate: Hourly Rate TBC

Your duties will include:

• Conducting visual inspections (VT) of pipeline welds and associated fabrication activities.
