• Fluent English required; German a strong plus but not mandatory.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin.

A Tier 1 General Contractor with a live hyperscale/colo build in Berlin is looking for a Mechanical Quality Manager to own mechanical QA/QC through to handover.

You'll sit within the GC's site team, driving mechanical quality standards across the build — working directly with subcontractors, the commissioning team, and client stakeholders to make sure every mechanical system is delivered right first time.

The Role

• Full ownership of mechanical QA/QC across a live hyperscale/colo data centre build
• ITP development, review and sign-off for mechanical systems — chillers, CRAH/CRAC, piping, pumps
• Managing mechanical subcontractor quality performance on site
• Snagging, NCR management, and close-out tracking through to handover
• Site-based quality audits and inspections against design intent and international standards
• Direct liaison with commissioning teams to ensure quality outputs feed cleanly into Cx testing
• Client-facing — reporting quality status and driving resolution on defects

What You\'ll Bring

• Proven mechanical QA/QC experience within data centre construction, ideally GC-side — hyperscale or colo background preferred
• Strong technical grounding in chilled water, DX, and mechanical plant systems
• Comfortable running ITPs, NCRs and quality documentation at scale on a live site
• Fluent English essential; German a strong plus but not mandatory
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin
