Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Germany is seeking a master student in Informatics or Aerospace Engineering to develop a test concept for the F-Series Generation-3 I/O-Board and evaluate test results. The position is a final-year thesis located at the Friedrichshafen site, with a duration of 6 months and a fast start.

The role involves HW-in-the-loop test setup, interface and system tests using a spacecraft simulator, and close collaboration with an international team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student in aerospace engineering, software engineering, automotive software engineering or comparable graduation.
• Profound knowledge about embedded I/O-programming.
• High motivation, initiative and time management.
• Team spirit and ability to work in an international environment.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Familiarization with the F-Series OBC core architecture.
• Familiarization with the F-Series legacy I/O-Board functionality and Generation 3 I/O-Board.
• Implement a HW in the loop test set-up for the I/O-Board.
• Develop and execute interface test procedures.
• Develop and execute system/load/speed test procedures.
• Perform end-to-end chain tests with a spacecraft simulator and the Generation 3 CPU-Board.
• Document results in MS-Office.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities
