Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space GmbH is seeking a Master student (d/f/m) in Informatics or Aerospace Engineering to develop test concepts for the F-Series Generation-3 I/O-Board and evaluate results. This 6-month internship is based at the Friedrichshafen site and offers hands-on HW-in-the-loop testing and system-level verification.

Qualifications

• Enrolled fulltime student in aerospace or software field.
• Profound knowledge about embedded I/O programming.
• High motivation, initiative, and ability to manage time effectively.
• Team spirit and willingness to work in an international company.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with the F-Series OBC core architecture.
• Familiarize with the F-Series legacy I/O-Board functionality and Generation 3 I/O-Board.
• Implement a HW in the loop test set-up for the I/O-Board.
• Develop and execute interface test procedures.
• Develop and execute system/load/speed test procedures.
• Perform end-to-end chain tests with a spacecraft simulator and Generation 3 CPU-Board.
• Documentation of results (MS-Office).

• Team spirit and willingness to co-operate and working together in an international Company.
• Fluent English.
