Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Friedrichshafen seeks a Master student in Informatics or Aerospace Engineering to develop test concepts for the F-Series Generation-3 I/O-Board and evaluate results.

You will implement HW-in-the-loop tests, run interface and system tests, and document results while collaborating in an international team. Start as soon as possible for a 6-month duration, with an attractive salary and a 35-hour week, plus opportunities to network across the Airbus community.

Qualifications

• Enrolled fulltime student within aerospace or software engineering.
• Profound knowledge about embedded I/O programming.
• High motivation, personal initiative and time management.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Familiarization with the F-Series OBC core architecture.
• Familiarization with the F-Series legacy I/O-Board functionality and latest Generation 3 I/O-Board.
• Implement a HW in the loop test set-up for the I/O-Board.
• Develop and execute interface test procedures.
• Develop and execute system/load/speed test procedures.
• Perform end-to-end chain tests with a spacecraft simulator and Generation 3 CPU-Board.
• Documentation of results (MS-Office).
