Market Research Facilitator (FMCG – Drinks & Food)

We are seeking an experienced Market Research Facilitator based in Germany, who is fluent in the local language. The facilitator will support a research project for our client, Refresco, by conducting in-depth interviews with trade market customers to gather valuable insights into the drinks and food sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structured and semi-structured interviews with trade customers and key stakeholders within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
  • Facilitate discussions to explore customer perceptions, sales dynamics, and market trends in the drinks and food categories.
  • Accurately capture qualitative insights and summarise findings to support the client’s market understanding and decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the project management and insights teams to ensure consistency and high-quality data collection.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards throughout the research process.
Requirements
  • Fluent in the local language (German) and proficient in English.
  • Strong experience in FMCG, ideally within sales, marketing, or market research roles.
  • Previous experience conducting interviews, focus groups, or customer insights research is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Previous experience with Aldi or Lidl is highly desirable.

Kantar have a briefing recording to send that we have already had with a few facilitators from other markets. The facilitators will need to send out an email template in local language to the customers, they will work with the manager to book sessions from 24th November onwards. This project may roll into December.
