ABL Recruitment seeks a Mandarin-speaking Finance Manager to lead the finance function for an international automotive business in Frankfurt, on-site. The role covers closing, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls, with cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, strong SAP/S4HANA experience, and fluency in German and English; Mandarin is a plus. This permanent, full-time position offers growth within a fast-growing European team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, auditing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, reporting or audit.
• Strong knowledge of German accounting standards, VAT, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with SAP/S4HANA or other ERP systems.
• Fluent in German and English; Mandarin would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payments and expense management.
• Coordinate VAT, corporate tax, statutory reporting, audits and compliance.
• Support ERP implementation, process optimization, and finance system development.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations and HR to provide financial insight and business support.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls and governance procedures.
• Provide financial analysis to support commercial decision-making and growth.

Job Title: Mandarin Speaking Finance Manager

Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Fully on site)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Language: Mandarin, English and German

Salary: up to 70K + bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payments, and expense management
• Coordinate VAT, corporate tax, statutory reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
• Support ERP implementation, process optimisation, and finance system development
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR teams to provide financial insight and business support
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls and governance procedures
• Provide financial analysis to support commercial decision-making and business growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, reporting, or audit
• Strong knowledge of German accounting standards, statutory reporting, VAT, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
• Experience with SAP/S4HANA or other ERP systems
• Previous experience within automotive, manufacturing, commercial vehicle, leasing, logistics, or similar industries would be highly advantageous
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Chinese language capability would be an advantage
