Job summary

LuxExperience is seeking a Manager Internal Audit (f/m/d) to join our Munich office for an 18-month maternity cover. You will work closely with the Head of Internal Audit to provide independent assurance across the LuxExperience Group, focusing on governance, risk management and internal controls.

The role requires strong SOX knowledge and experience in regulated environments. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years in audit, and fluency in English; German

• 3+ years of experience in internal or financial audit roles.
• Advanced understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance in business processes.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 Section 404(b) and PCAOB standards.
• Experience with Information Security, Privacy, IT Audit and IT Management Standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head of Internal Audit on all internal audit matters for LuxExperience Group.
• Provide independent assurance on governance, risk, controls and internal audit topics.
• Identify risks related to business objectives and evaluate controls to mitigate them.
• Support in implementing the internal audit program using a risk-based approach.
• Perform management testing of SOX controls (SOX 404(b)).
• Communicate findings clearly and coordinate with SOX Compliance and Risk Management for remediation.

To support our Internal Audit team, we are currently searching for a full-time employee as Manager Internal Audit (f/m/d) based in our office in Munich, Germany. The position is limited to 18 months as a maternity cover.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Internal Audit on all internal audit matters of the LuxExperience Group
• Provide independent, objective assurance and advice on the adequacy and effectiveness of Governance, Risk Management, internal controls and general internal audit topics
• Contribute in identifying risks associated with business objectives and evaluate the controls in place to mitigate those risks in order to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes
• Work with the team on the implementation of the internal audit program using a risk-based approach
• Perform management testing of SOX controls (SOX 404b)
• Communicate findings effectively in both written and verbal formats and coordinate with the Group SOX Compliance and Risk Management team on the remediation plan and follow-ups to promote and facilitate continuous improvement
• Support the Head of Internal Audit in the regular reporting to the Management Board and to the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board
• Contribute to the optimization of the implemented GRC tool
• Advise on the creation or modification of policies, procedures, process and services to ensure an appropriate level of internal control is maintained

Who You Are

• Bachelor´s degree in Accounting/Finance or similar qualification
• 3+ years of experience in similar positions, preferably in financial or management consulting firms and/or internal or financial audit functions
• Advanced understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance as well as business end-to-end processes
• Detailed knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 requirements Section 404(b) and PCAOB standards or minimum regulatory internal controls experience in a regulated environment
• Experience with Information Security, Privacy, IT Audit and IT Management Standards would be a plus
• Detail-oriented, with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and proven experience in Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace
• Capability to work free from bias and to be independent from operative implementation of measures and Risk Management
• Personal integrity with strong ethics and values consistent with company culture and values
• Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Fluency in business English is mandatory, Italian and/or German language proficiency is a plus
