Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Manager Geodata and Site Information Systems (d/f/m) in Düsseldorf. You will manage the geodata IT portfolio, coordinate with site operators and suppliers, and drive digitalisation efforts within Infrastructure Services IT.

Requires a Master’s or Diplom in IT, 5+ years in application management and IT project management, and fluency in German and English (C1). Flexible/hybrid work policies are offered along with international growth opportunities.

• Degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or comparable IT-focused programme (Master’s or Diplom).
• 5+ years in Application Management & IT Project Management.
• Experience in software administration and IT systems implementation.
• Interest in latest tech developments; strong analytical thinking and ability to grasp complex interrelations.
• Fluency in German (C1) and English (C1).

Responsibilities

• Application management for the existing portfolio and documentation in line with group guidelines, plus maintenance, incident and change management.
• IT project management and monitoring for geodata/buildings/infrastructure services projects.
• Management of service providers and data/process quality management.
• Evaluate alternative solutions when introducing new technologies.
• Ensure ongoing development of geodata IT and digitalisation.
• Analyze, manage and further develop (geo)data for our Düsseldorf HQ.
• Coordinate technically and strategically the conceptual development of geodata infrastructure with site operator, central functions and suppliers.

• Application management for the existing portfolio and documentation in accordance with Group-wide guidelines, as well as maintenance, incident and change management
• IT project management & project monitoring for projects in the following areas: geodata / buildings & infrastructure, services
• Management of service providers and quality management of data and processes
• Evaluation of alternative solutions when introducing new technologies
• Ensuring the ongoing development of subject-specific information technology and digitalisation
• Analysis, management and further development of (geo)data for our headquarters in Düsseldorf
• Technical and strategic coordination and implementation of the conceptual development of the geodata infrastructure, in consultation with the site operator, central functions and suppliers

What makes you a good fit

• A degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or a comparable degree programme with a strong IT focus (Master’s or Diplom degree)
• Several years’ professional experience (minimum 5 years) in the specified fields of Application Management & IT Project Management
• Experience in software administration and the implementation of IT systems
• A keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest technological developmentsA focus on quality, the ability to think analytically and to quickly grasp complex interrelationships
• Fluency in German (C1) and English (C1)
