Zusammenfassung

Henkel is seeking an IT professional with a strong background in geo-informatics and database management to oversee applications, servers, and geodata initiatives from Düsseldorf and other sites.

You will work with Corporate IT, manage data quality, and drive IT projects in geoinformatics and CAFM, collaborating with suppliers and central teams to advance the geodata infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or Diploma in (Geo-)Informatics, Database Management, or a comparable IT-focused field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in database/data management and cloud environments.
• Strong focus on quality and implementation with analytical thinking to understand complex interrelationships.
• Ability to define goals and work towards them in a structured, independent manner.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Manage applications within the existing portfolio and maintain documentation per internal guidelines, including updates, incident management, and change management.
• Administer servers in collaboration with Corporate IT; support database administration (Oracle and APEX Application Server).
• Analyze, manage, and develop (geo)data for headquarter in Düsseldorf and other locations.
• Plan and execute IT projects in geoinformatics and CAFM areas.
• Manage service providers and ensure data and process quality.
• Coordinate and implement geodata infrastructure development with site operator, central functions, and suppliers.
• Evaluate alternative solutions when introducing new technologies.
• Ensure continuous development of specialized IT and digitalization.

About this position

What you'll do

• Manage applications within the existing portfolio and maintain documentation in accordance with internal corporate guidelines, including continuous updates, incident management, and change management
• Manage and administer servers in collaboration with Corporate IT and support database administration, including Oracle and APEX Application Server
• Analyze, manage, and further develop (geo)data for our headquarters in Düsseldorf and other locations
• Plan and execute IT projects in the areas of geoinformatics and CAFM
• Manage service providers and ensure the quality of data and processes
• Coordinate and implement the functional and strategic development of the geodata infrastructure in alignment with the site operator, central functions, and suppliers
• Evaluate alternative solutions when introducing new technologies
• Ensure the continuous development of specialized information technology and digitalization

• University degree (Master’s degree / Diploma) in (Geo-)Informatics, Database Management, or a comparable field of study with a strong IT focus
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in database/data management and cloud environments required
