Job summary

Knauf Group is seeking a senior strategic professional to partner with the Board of Management and Head of Strategy & Corporate Development to steer the enterprise-wide strategy execution.

You will define priorities, opportunities and risks, and design high-impact projects with business units across regions. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for driving topics forward.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or MBA with 3+ years in top-tier consultancy or strategic function
• Strong problem solving, communication, and business acumen
• Collaborative, cross-functional teamwork across regions
• Excellent English and good German skills

What you'll do

• You will work closely with the Board of Management (General Partners), helping to shape their strategic agenda and supporting key board-related topics

• In close collaboration with our Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, you will help drive the enterprise-wide strategy execution process to realize Knauf’s ambition, and define priorities, opportunities, and risks

• Partnering closely with business units and group functions, you will design high impact strategic projects and ensure an efficient, disciplined rollout

• In partnership with Corporate Finance, you will align financial and strategic planning with the expectations of Knauf management while establishing and documenting best practices and institutionalizing key learnings

• You will bring rigorous problem solving and strategic frameworks to advance corporate initiatives

Who you are

• Holding preferably a master’s degree or MBA and at least three years’ work experience either at a top tier management consultancy or within a strategic function in the building materials or an adjacent industry

• Demonstrating a trajectory of rapid learning, constructive problem solving, strong communication skills and strong business acumen

• You are a collaborative and motivated team player who is comfortable working across functions and regions, builds strong relationships, and brings the persistence and positive mindset needed to drive topics forward

• Excellent English and good German skills complete your profile
