Zusammenfassung

Boeing Deutschland GMBH is seeking highly experienced heavy lift helicopter technicians for the CH-47 fleet based at Holzdorf air base. A DEMAR Part-66 license (B1.3/B2) and at least 6 months’ hands-on experience are required.

The role is 100% onsite with shift flexibility and occasional travel within Europe. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Germany and be prepared for diverse tasks, including safety critical reporting and close collaboration with leadership teams.

Qualifikationen

  • Hold a DEMAR Part-66 B1.3 or B2 license.
  • Minimum 6 months’ recent experience on heavy helicopters.
  • At least 5 years in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
  • Willing to work varying shifts and be able to travel.
  • Right to live and work in Germany; security clearance mandatory.
  • English language proficiency required.

Aufgaben

  • Perform line maintenance on customer aircraft including backshop support for components that require repair.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedures associated with the line maintenance of the customers aircraft.
  • Advise senior management of all reportable incidents and report same in the Boeing or customer system.
  • Ensure all planned aircraft work is carried out as scheduled.
  • Ensure all aircraft paperwork, technical logs, and work packs are completed accurately and within prescribed timescales.
  • Support the Boeing Part-145 MRO management Leadership Team through completing tasks as assigned; specifically with regard to the quality and on-time delivery of services.
  • Carry out Ad Hoc tasks as requested by the Leadership Team.
  • Maintain and manage assigned tooling, material and components ensuring all local procedures are followed.
  • Candidates must be prepared to work outside of normal hours when required to support ad hoc events. Shifts are typically 8 hour days Mon to Fri but will vary as required in order to support the business needs.

Boeing Deutschland GMBH are a DEMAR 145 maintenance organization who will provide Line Maintenance services on the new Germany fleet of CH-47 helicopters. This is an exciting new operation based at Holzdorf air base and we are looking for some highly experienced heavy lift helicopter technicians to join our organization.

This role offers a new and exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team supporting the German CH-47 fleet.

Prospective candidates are required to hold a current DEMAR or equivalent Part-66 maintenance license in category B1.3 and/or B2 on a helicopter of similar type and construction to the Germany CH-47 and must be able to demonstrate at least 6 months recent experience on one of these types.

The roles will report to the onsite Line Maintenance Manager.

  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Relocation: This position does not offers relocation based on candidate eligibility
  • Travel: occasional travel to other Boeing locations in Europe and the U.S. to support integration and cross-site activities
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Job Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (Required skills/experience):
  • Ability to obtain a DEMAR Part-66 B1.3 or B2 license
  • At least 6 months’ recent experience on heavy helicopters
  • Have at least 5 years’ experience of working in a fast-paced maintenance environment
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in-house systems
  • Must be willing to work varying shifts and spend periods away from the main base
  • Candidates must have the right to live and work in Germany
  • Security Clearance: Willingness to undergo a security clearance check (at least Ü2 level according to the German Security Clearance Act / SÜG) is strictly mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
  • Hold EU Level 2 Secret Clearance is an asset.
  • Currently hold a DEMAR Part-66 B1.3 or B2 license
  • A team player who will grasp opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers
  • Be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects
  • Previous experience of using a maintenance management system
