Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH is seeking Certifying Staff (m/f/d) with aviation maintenance expertise to support helicopter inspections, repairs, and release processes. Roles include identifying malfunctions, performing tests, and coordinating with CAMO and helicopter crews across multiple locations in Germany.

Candidates should have aircraft electrical training, a related degree, and German language fluency with good English.

Qualifikationen

• Must have completed vocational training in aircraft electrical systems or a related field.
• Additional qualification like master craftsman, technician or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Excellent German and good English language skills are required.

• Identify malfunctions and describe damage patterns, and document complaints about aircraft technology and MRO processes.
• Carry out inspection measures and troubleshooting, including approval of helicopters.
• Supervise installation, functional, interim and final tests during repairs and maintenance.
• Support work processes and assist in releasing aircraft for ground run or flight.
• Coordinate measures with helicopter crew and CAMO; ensure safety requirements are met.

What your tasks are

• Identifying malfunctions and describing damage patterns, as well as determining, recording, and labeling complaints about general aircraft technology and MRO processes.
• Carrying out inspection measures and troubleshooting, including approval of the helicopters.
• Supervision of installation, functional, interim, and final tests during scaffolding, repairs, and maintenance.
• Completion of work processes and support in the release of aircraft for ground running or flight.
• Coordination/debriefings of measures with the helicopter crew.
• Coordination of measures with the responsible CAMO.
• Ensuring all necessary operational and safety requirements are met.

What you bring to the team

• Completed vocational training in aircraft electric or similar.
• Additional qualification: Master craftsman, technician or technical degree (Bachelor).
• EASA Part‑66 CAT B2 license (or in progress).
• DEMAR 66 CAT B2 license desirable.
• Experience in aviation assembly, inspection, and maintenance.
• Type rating on Airbus helicopters desirable.
• Team spirit and resilience.
• Business‑fluent German and good English skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (depending on the product type – maximum a few times a year).
