Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a logistics professional to plan, monitor, and optimize the supply chain from factory to delivery for the German market. Based in Frankfurt, you will coordinate transport modes, work with freight forwarders, and ensure compliance and timely execution.

The ideal candidate has completed business administration training or degree, solid experience in logistics in the automotive sector, and excellent MS Excel and ERP skills. Fluency in German and business English is required.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration.
• Proven experience in logistics, allocation, or production planning in automotive sector.
• Strong management and communication skills with logistics/transport providers and partners.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Structured, independent, solution-oriented work style with team spirit.
• Excellent German and business-fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and optimize the supply chain from factory to delivery to retail partners.
• Manage logistics and transport providers, including performance monitoring and contract management.
• Coordinate transport modes (sea, rail, road) focusing on cost, time, and quality.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and import regulations.
• Analyze logistics processes and derive efficiency-improving measures.
• Support projects aimed at process optimization within operations.
