Jobtailor seeks an experienced claims professional to proactively manage litigation on assigned files, evaluating coverage and liability while negotiating settlements. The role requires collaboration with underwriting, risk, actuarial and legal teams, plus travel for mediations and court appearances.

You will educate partners on risk management, provide timely reporting, and pursue maximum recovery across states. Strong communication and independent work in a remote or hybrid setup are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years claims experience with a focus on litigation.
• Strong knowledge of policy coverage and interpretation.
• Ability to meet expectations of internal and external customers.

• Travel for mediations, trials and credit union visits.

• Handle claims in multiple states.

• Build partnerships with credit unions through professional consultation.
• Consult on credit union risks and loss prevention related to litigation.
• Ensure consistent handling of commercial insurance claims.
• Integrate recovery processes into claim resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience


• Minimum of 7 years of claims experience with a focus on litigation


• Demonstrated knowledge of policy coverage and interpretation skills


• Ability to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers


• Demonstrated problem-solving skills


• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication


• Ability to work independently, including effectively in a remote office environment


• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite and web applications and general computer skills


• Some travel required for mediations, trials and credit union visits


• Understanding of applicable statutes, regulations and case law


• Knowledge of financial services operations


• Ability to handle claims in multiple states


• Adjuster License and Continuing Education as needed


• AIC, CPCU or other professional industry education a plus


• Project management experience a plus


• Prior experience working with Program Third Party Administrators is a plus
