Zusammenfassung

Voluntary & Community (VAC) seeks a Link Officer in Kirklees to join the Engagement and Quality Team. This part-time role (20 hours per week) supports VCSE organisations to strengthen impact, demonstrate quality and ensure community voices are heard.

The successful candidate will build relationships with VCSE organisations, communities and partners, promote the Community Voices programme and help inform local services and decision-making. Flexible/remote working is available.

Are you passionate about supporting Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector?

Voluntary & Community (VAC) is looking for a Link Officer in Kirkleesto join our Engagement and Quality Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside VCSE organisations, helping them strengthen their impact, demonstrate quality and ensure community voices are heard.

About the Role

As Link Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and development of VAC’s programmes across Kirklees, including:

• Supporting organisations to achieve and maintain the Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing accreditation
• Building strong relationships with VCSE organisations, communities and strategic partners
• Promoting and developing the Community Voices programme
• Helping ensure community experiences and insights inform local services and decision-making
• Facilitating networking, training and engagement opportunities across the sector
• Acting as a key point of contact for VAC’s work in Kirklees

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who can build effective relationships, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and work collaboratively to deliver positive outcomes. Experience of community engagement and supporting organisations to develop and grow would be particularly valuable.

What We Offer

• Salary: £28,300 pro rata
• Part-time: 20 hours per week
• Fixed-term contract for 12 months (with potential extension subject to funding)
• Flexible and remote working
• Employer pension contribution
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
