Job summary

360T in Frankfurt am Main seeks a qualified lawyer to join the group legal team. You will review, interpret, and translate legal requirements for the business and external stakeholders.

You will advise senior management, ensure compliance with MiFID II, EMIR, and UK FCA, and draft/negotiates contracts with clients, banks, and tech partners, while identifying legal risks in a fast-paced FinTech setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with German State Exam or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in law firms or in-house legal teams, ideally FinTech/capital markets/financial services.
• Strong contract law and financial regulatory knowledge; experience with trading platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advice to senior management on diverse legal matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and financial regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, EMIR, UK FCA).
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, financial institutions, and technology partners.
• Evaluate legal risks and support business in compliant, commercially viable solutions.
• Assist in regulatory inquiries, audits, and communications with authorities.
• Manage IP protection, including software licenses, patents, trademarks, designs.
• Monitor developments in capital markets/FinTech and inform stakeholders.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing and improve internal legal processes and tools.

Your Role

We are looking for brilliant legal minds to join our growing 360T Group legal team. As a key member of our team, you will review, interpret, and translate legal requirements while effectively communicating them to the business and external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advice to senior management on a wide range of legal matters
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and applicable financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, UK FCA regulations)
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, financial institutions, and technology partners
• Evaluate legal risks and support business teams in developing compliant and commercially viable solutions
• Assist in handling regulatory inquiries, audits, and communication with supervisory authorities
• Execute legal procedures related to the protection of intellectual property rights, including software licenses, patents, trademarks, and designs
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments in capital markets and FinTech and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing within the legal team and help enhance internal legal processes and tools

Your Profile

• German State Exam (fully qualified lawyer in Germany) or equivalent qualification
• 2+ years of experience in a law firm or an in-house legal department, ideally in FinTech, capital markets, or financial services
• Strong understanding of contract law, financial regulation, and regulatory requirements for trading platforms
• Ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and translate them into clear, practical, and business-oriented guidance
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, combined with a solution-driven and end-to-end ownership mindset
• Affinity for innovative technologies and a proactive, forward-thinking approach to legal problem-solving in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
