Job summary

The Social Hub in Berlin is hiring a Kitchen Porter through Hosco. You’ll help keep the kitchen spotless, safe and ready for action, supporting the kitchen team with basic tasks and ensuring a smooth workflow behind the scenes.

No experience is required; we’ll train you. You’ll join a busy, team-focused environment with opportunities to learn and grow within a dynamic hospitality concept.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly.
• Keep floors, surfaces and bins clean following routines.
• Maintain spotless kitchen areas including storage and prep spaces.
• Assist kitchen team with basic tasks as needed.
• Store and organize stock to support efficient workflow.
• Follow HACCP hygiene and food safety rules.
• Handle cleaning materials safely and report hazards.

As Kitchen Porter, you’re the unsung hero who keeps our kitchen spotless, safe and ready for action. You jump in where the team needs you, keep equipment shining, and make sure every plate that goes out starts with a clean slate. What You’ll Do

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away

What You’ll Have

• No experience needed, we’ll train you
• Some experience in a cleaning or support role is a plus
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet
• A team player mindset with a positive, flexible attitude
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness
• Reliable and hard-working behind the scenes
• Clear communication skills – able to follow instructions and ask when in doubt
