The Social Hub is hiring a Kitchen Porter to help keep our kitchens spotless, safe and ready for action. You’ll join a friendly, collaborative team and learn on the job, even with no prior experience.

Qualifications

• Some experience in a cleaning or support role is a plus
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet
• A team player mindset with a positive, flexible attitude
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness
• Reliable and hard-working behind the scenes
• Clear communication skills - able to follow instructions and ask when in doubt

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed - from unloading deliveries to organizing stock
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away
