Job summary

ICON-INSTITUTE Consulting Group in Cologne is seeking a Junior Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our head office team. The role covers project acquisition and management, including coordinating experts and ensuring donor requirements are met.

You will work in an international development context with English and German language demands, and enjoy a modern, hybrid office environment in the Cologne area.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in economics, econometrics, sociology, social research (quantitative and qualitative) or related fields.
• Min. of 2 years of experience in the development cooperation.
• Proven experience in assisting project management in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of donor agencies’ management, administrative procedures and technical requirements (EU, World Bank, GIZ, KfW etc) would be an asset.
• Knowledge of SDG targets and Agenda 2030 would an asset.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Proven communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional level of language skills in English and German; fluent language skills in French or Spanish would be an asset.
