Qualifikationen

  • Studied in social work, psychology, youth development, social sciences, education, international development, public policy or related field.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage routine tasks with diligence.
  • Excellent communication in English; another foreign language is a plus.

To support our Scholarships & Educational Development team in our Munich office, we are looking for a (Junior) Program Manager - Scholar Support & Quality (m/f/d) on a full time basis.

Your tasks

As (Junior) Program Manager - Scholar Support & Quality, take operational ownership of scholar support, program quality, and MEAL within the Global Scholarship Program (GSP). You work closely with scholars, colleagues, and external partners to ensure that scholars receive appropriate support, cases are well documented, program standards are upheld, risks and concerns are managed appropriately, and evidence and learning are systematically used to strengthen the program. This includes the following tasks:

  • Program Quality, MEAL & Impact: Develop & manage a safeguarding-informed GSP quality and MEAL framework. Coordinate data collection, analysis and reporting and ensure findings are translated into concrete program improvements. Coordinate impact measurement approaches, including SROI, and lead the preparation of the GSP annual report.
  • Provide administrative support to the team Scholar Support & Documentation: Manage and coordinate the scholar support process throughout their journey. Maintain and update scholar information as well as all relevant documents (communications, reports, transcripts) in appropriate databases and tools. Schedule check-ins & respond promptly to general inquiries from students and stakeholders. Serve as the primary contact for scholar inquiries on YouthLinks Community (an internal communication platform), by coordinating, developing, and posting relevant information, guidance, and support materials for scholars. Prepare reports as required.
Your profile

You have successfully completed studies in social work, psychology, youth development, social sciences, education, international development, public policy or a related field. You bring initial relevant professional experience in one or more areas such as student or youth support, program quality, monitoring and evaluation. Skills in MHPSS are an advantage. You are highly organized and approach routine and recurring tasks with diligence and understand their importance for effective scholar support, monitoring and program management. You are proactive and bring forward innovative ideas for improvements. You are a team player with a positive attitude, hands-on-mentality and get things done. You are flexible in navigating a complex and fast changing environment and have the ability to prioritize effectively when faced with multiple requests. You have effective communication skills with excellent command of English. Another foreign language such as Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic or French is an advantage. You have very good skills in MS-Office, Adobe & Canva. Additional computer skills are a plus.
