Job summary

PUMA SE in Herzogenaurach is seeking a proactive junior Product Manager to support line management and GTM processes. You will help prepare market and competitor studies, contribute to collection and marketing strategies, and gain hands-on experience across the product creation cycle.

You bring first work experience in product management in sporting goods, a basic understanding of costing, strong analytical and presentation skills, and fluent English.

• First work experience in product management in the sporting goods industry, preferably footwear.
• Good understanding of the textile- and/or footwear-, sporting-, consumer goods industry and retail businesses as well as competitor trends.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Very good verbal communication skills and excellent English knowledge (written and spoken).
• Excellent MS-Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• High autonomy, accuracy and proactivity; global mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market- and competitor studies on an international level, and analyze forecasts and sales analyses.
• Support in developing collection- and marketing strategies for assigned product lines.
• Understand basic product costing and how it impacts product quality, margin and net sales from design to production release.
• Develop knowledge of the whole market (GTM) process and collaborate in driving the product creation process.
• Understand look and quality standards of PUMA and its competitors and their positioning.
• Complete routine tasks efficiently and prioritize tasks with moderate supervision.
• Navigate within and across departments.

• With direction of the Teamhead Product Line Management Core, preparing market- and competitor studies on an international level as well as analyzing forecasts and sales analyses
