Job summary

Lucanet is hiring a Junior ETL Developer to design and build ETL interfaces that move data from ERP systems into our CFO Solution Platform using Java, SQL and web services. It is a hands-on start to a career in data integration with real customer impact from day one.

You will join the ETL & Data Warehousing team on international projects, collaborate with consultants and customers, and learn how finance data moves across ERP landscapes while growing your skills and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL interfaces in Java, SQL and web services to connect ERP systems with Lucanet
• Analyze requirements with colleagues and translate them into practical interface designs
• Maintain existing ETL interfaces and resolve issues to keep data transfers running smoothly
• Write clear documentation for every interface you build or update
• Join international project teams and contribute to customer integration work
• Report into the ETL & Data Warehousing team with guidance as you learn

The Role

As a Junior ETL Developer (all genders), you’ll create the data connections that let finance teams trust their numbers. You'll design and develop ETL interfaces that transfer data from ERP systems into Lucanet's CFO Solution Platform, using Java, SQL and web services. It's a hands‑on start to a career in data integration, with real customer impact from day one.

You'll be part of our ETL & Data Warehousing team, a group of specialists who back each other up and share knowledge openly. Day to day, you’ll work with consulting, technical support, external partners and customers on international projects, learning how finance data moves across different ERP landscapes. What you'll do

• Develop ETL interfaces in Java, SQL and web services to connect ERP systems with Lucanet
• Analyze requirements with colleagues and translate them into practical interface designs

What you bring to the table

• Working knowledge of Java and SQL from your studies, personal projects or a first role
• Grasp of financial accounting basics, such as how ledgers and accounts fit together
• Structured approach to tasks and a drive to find solutions, not just problems
• Openness to feedback and a genuine eagerness to learn new tools and processes
• Fluent German, spoken and written, to work with German‑speaking customers and partners
• Friendly, customer‑minded way of explaining technical topics
• Studies in business informatics, computer science or a similar field
• Exposure to web services, APIs or ERP systems
• Interest in using AI tools to speed up everyday development tasks
