Jobtailor is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant to design analytical data models, ensure efficient data storage, and provide querying and analysis capabilities for client projects.

The role involves creating dashboards for web and mobile, with emphasis on data warehousing, OLAP, and modern visualization techniques. German and English communication skills are required, and travel for project work may be expected.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, information management, or industrial engineering with an IT focus.
• Experience in architecture and usage of data management systems and data modeling.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and OLAP concepts: star and snowflake schemas.
• Design and development of reports, dashboards, and reporting systems for web and mobile devices.

• As a Data Analytics Consultant you operate within this field. Based on the customer’s knowledge needs, you design appropriate analytical data models, ensure efficient data storage, and provide suitable querying and analysis capabilities.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Management, or Industrial Engineering with an IT focus
• Required knowledge and, ideally, practical experience in the following areas:
  • Architecture and usage of data management systems
  • Conceptual modeling of data, business processes, and business rules
  • Logical and physical database design
  • Data modeling for Data Warehousing and OLAP: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema
  • Monitoring and online analysis: design and development of reports, dashboards, and reporting systems for web and mobile devices
• Valuable additional qualifications:
  • Modern data visualization methods and technologies
  • Modeling agile Data Warehouses: Data Vault
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud
• Experience with Business Intelligence databases and applications, optionally in the following technologies:
  • Object-relational, In-Memory
  • Multidimensional, Essbase
  • Big Data (NoSQL, Hadoop + Spark frameworks)
• Responsible use of digital technologies and AI with the goal of creating sustainable, human-centered user experiences
