Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a data analytics professional to partner with stakeholders across the business, translating challenges into scalable analytical solutions. You will build and maintain datasets and dashboards using SQL and dbt, enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.

The role focuses on defining KPIs and reporting standards, ensuring data quality, and contributing to analytics best practices. On-site in Hamburg, English fluent with German a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, Analytics Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong SQL skills and daily data work.
• Hands-on experience with modern data transformation tools such as dbt.
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and translating business questions into scalable solutions.
• Confident communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Independent, ownership-minded with a structured problem-solving approach.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Hamburg area and able to work on-site regularly.

• You partner with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and translate them into scalable analytical solutions
• You build and maintain reliable, scalable datasets and reporting tables using SQL and modern transformation tools such as dbt
• You design, develop, and optimize dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
• You perform analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights
• You define, implement, and continuously improve KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards
• You ensure high data quality through testing, validation, and structured analytical workflows
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytics ecosystem by enhancing documentation, standards, reusable assets, and best practices
• You take ownership of specific focus areas within the team and actively strengthen our overall analytics capabilities

Requirements

• You have at least 2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or a comparable role
• You have strong SQL skills and enjoy working with data on a daily basis
• You have hands-on experience with modern data transformation tools such as dbt
• You have experience building dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• You understand data warehouse concepts and enjoy translating business questions into scalable analytical solutions
• You communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You work independently, take ownership, and approach challenges with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
• You are fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
• You are based in or willing to relocate to the Hamburg area and enjoy collaborating with your team on-site on a regular basis
