DKV Mobility is seeking an IT System Engineer Windows Server (gn) for hybrid work in Ratingen. You will implement, monitor, and optimize Windows server environments, working with Active Directory, Entra ID, and PowerShell, while coordinating with external partners.

You will support incident resolution, license management, and lifecycle processes and contribute to security and efficiency improvements across on-prem and cloud components.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience operating Windows server infrastructures and related services.
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure and multi-cloud environments is a plus.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell.

• Implement, administer, monitor, and continuously develop IT systems in a Windows server environment while enforcing security policies.
• Resolve incidents as part of 2nd- and 3rd-level support to ensure stable operations.
• Ensure licensing compliance and lifecycle management for IT services.
• Continuously enhance systems to improve security, efficiency, and stability.
• Manage external partners and service providers in coordination with the responsible manager.
• Contribute to design and implementation of server and application operation concepts considering security policies.

• You will take responsibility for the implementation, administration, monitoring, and continuous development of IT systems and services in a Windows server environment, ensuring compliance with applicable security policies.
• You will analyze and resolve incidents as part of 2nd- and 3rd-level support and ensure stable and reliable operations.
• You will be responsible for smooth system operations as well as correct and efficient licensing within the scope of lifecycle management.
• You will continuously enhance existing systems to sustainably increase security, efficiency, and stability.
• You will manage and oversee external partners and service providers in close coordination with the responsible manager.
• You will contribute to the design and implementation of concepts in the area of server and application operations, taking defined security policies into account.
• You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT and business projects during the implementation, testing, and rollout phases.
• You will advise business departments on projects and changes to IT services, systems, and applications, and analyze and evaluate technical, functional, and process-related requirements, including automation potential.

What makes you stand out

• You have relevant professional experience operating complex, heterogeneous server infrastructures as well as application servers based on Microsoft Windows Server.
• You have very good knowledge of Microsoft server technologies such as Windows Server, Hyper‑V, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policies, and File Services.
• You are confident in using Windows PowerShell and apply it routinely for administration and automation.
• You have basic hands-on experience in operating hybrid infrastructures consisting of on‑premises, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud environments, as well as services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, including their integration.
• You bring experience in working with external service providers and partners and are able to manage them in a structured manner.
• In addition, you work analytically, in a structured and independent way, and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
• You impress with strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a high level of responsibility.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
