Job summary

Die initOS GmbH in Magdeburg sucht eine engagierte IT-Administration zur Betreuung linux-basierter Server und Applikationen. Sie arbeiten an der Bereitstellung von Open-Source-Lösungen, betreuen Systeme wie FreePBX, Mailu, NextCloud und Gitlab und unterstützen Entwickler bei Artefakten/Bereitstellungen.

Sie verwalten Infrastrukturkomponenten wie Salt, Prometheus, Proxmox und OPNSense, gestalten IT-Landschaften von Netzwerken bis Anwendungen mit und bearbeiten komplexe Support- sowie

Qualifications

• Mindestens drei Jahre Erfahrung in der IT-Verwaltung linux-basierter Systeme und eine Auswahl der oben genannten Applikationen.
• Sicherer Umgang mit Console, Docker, Python, SQL
• Gute Kenntnisse der IT-Sicherheit und Linux-Netzwerktechnik
• Fließendes Deutsch und/oder Englisch in Wort und Schrift
• Umsetzungsstarke, eigenständige Arbeitsweise mit Teamgeist vor Ort
• Bereitschaft, sich schnell in neue Technologien einzuarbeiten
• Aktuelles polizeiliches Führungszeugnis
• Formale Ausbildung oder Zertifikate im Bereich IT (z.B. ITIL, LPIC, RHCSA) wären von Vorteil
• Erfahrung in Softwareentwicklung (Python, PHP, JavaScript, C, C++, Rust) wünschenswert
• Kenntnisse im Bereich IT-Landschaftsarchitektur und Softwarearchitektur wären von Vorteil
• Eigenmotivation zur Arbeit mit Open Source und souveränen IT-Infrastrukturen

Job description

• You operate application systems such as FreePBX, Mailu, Authentication, NextCloud and Gitlab
• You administer infrastructures with Salt, Prometheus, Proxmox and OPNSense.
• You support software developers in the delivery of artifacts (deployments).
• You participate in the design of IT system landscapes from the network to the application.
• You process (some critical) support cases as well as customization requests from customers and the internal team.
• You create and maintain clear, precise technical documentation.

Your tasks

• You run Linux-based servers.
• You operate application systems such as FreePBX, Mailu, Authentication, NextCloud and Gitlab
• You administer infrastructures with Salt, Prometheus, Proxmox and OPNSense.
• You support software developers in the delivery of artifacts (deployments).
• You participate in the design of IT system landscapes from the network to the application.
• You process (some critical) support cases as well as customization requests from customers and the internal team.
• You create and maintain clear, precise technical documentation.

You should bring that

• At least three years of experience in the IT administration of linux-based systems and a selection of the above application systems
• Safe handling of console, Docker, Python, SQL
• Solid knowledge of IT security and Linux network technologies
• Fluent in German and/or English in word and writing
• Calmness and prudence even in critical situations
• Reliable, independent working method with the joy of working together with the team on site in the office
• Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies
• Current police certificate of conduct

Also great would be

• Formal training in the department (training, studies; certificates, e.g. ITIL, LPIC, RHCSA)
• Experience in software development (Python, PHP, Javascript, C, C++, Rust)
• Solid knowledge in the field of IT landscape architecture and software architecture
• Self-motivation to work with open source and sovereign IT infrastructures.
